Fujian Medical University
Fujian Medical University (FJMU) was founded in 1937. University is located in Fuzhou, Fujian, China. With the mission of creating and nurturing a diverse community of elites who are “diligent, prudent, truth-seeking and innovative”, for over 70 years, it has developed an integral education system offering Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctor’s degree Programs.
In 2003, FJMU was approved by Fujian Provincial People’s Government as one of the key universities for priority development. Now, it consists of two mani campus i.e. Shangjie campus and Taijiang campus. Currently, the University consists of 17 college and departments, 22 undergraduate majors (aspects), 22 doctor-degree locations and 59 master-degree locations. The University has a full-time enrollment of 12,000 undergraduates and over 2,200 post graduate and doctoral students. The FJMU, there are 2 research stations that offer postdoctoral fellowships (for Clinical, Medicine and Basic Medical Sciences).
The University has established the cooperative of scientific research and talents training with the universities and medical research institutes from the United States, Japan, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Australia, Canada. The university will turn into the main base of training high-level medical talents, the center of medical scientific research and medical treatment service of both side of the channel. It will reach the general level to the advanced one among the same kinds of universities.
