Black Sea National University – one of the youngest institutions of higher education in Ukraine University is located in the city Mykolayiv. It is the place where in 1862 the decree of Emperor Nicholas port was founded craft school. Since, there are different types of educational institutions.
Petro Mohyla Black Sea National University is one of the top medical colleges in Ukraine. The university was established in the year 1996 as an extension of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.
In the year 2000, the university received its ‘state’ status, and subsequently, it received the ‘National’ university status in the year 2016. This university is one of the low budget destinations for students to study MBBS in Ukraine. Within a very span of time the university has become one of the most respected institutions in the southern region and in the national research community. BSNU – a classic European-style university whose primary purpose is educational, research and innovation.
The university is recognized by WHO and MCI and in the year 2009, the university became a part of the European Association of universities. University has acquired the fourth level of accreditation by the ministry of education and science of Ukraine. The University was ranked 44th among the best 200 educational institutions of Ukraine in the annual ranking of the UNESCO “Top 200 Ukraine” universities in 2015-2016.
University have 4 institutions and 6 departments. The material base includes 11 university buildings, a library with a fund of 110,000 published sources, 15 languages of the world. There are post-graduate department in 12 specialties. Training is conducted in Ukrainian and English. Students have an opportunity to learn French, German, Spanish, Polish, Bulgarian, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, and Hebrew.
Approximately it employs 310 teaching staff and enrolls about 4000 students. Among them there are 500 students which are Indians.
